Seasons are Changing

!±8± Seasons are Changing

Fall is upon us. You can feel the briskness in the air. You can see different colored leaves in the trees. As you walk down the sidewalk you can hear the crunch of the fallen leaves under your feet. It's deer hunting season. Deer are scampering so they don't get shot by hunters. You can go visit an apple orchard to buy donuts, apple cider and apples. Children are back to school giving their parents a needed break. Time to do the Christmas shopping before it snows. The stores will get busy soon. So much to do.

Soon it will be winter. It will be very cold so you will have to bundle up. Snow will have fallen and lay like a blanket on the ground. You can lay on the snow and make snow angels. You can also make a snow fort and a snowman. You'll see less animals because they don't want to get out in this weather. Only to get food. Even the birds have flown south for this season. Soon it will be Christmas. You'll be putting the tree up and decorating the house. You'll be seeing relatives that you might see only at this time of year. After Christmas is over then you can settle in and watch football or hockey on T.V or go to one of the games. Or if you like being outside, you can go sledding or ice skating.

Then you will welcome in spring. It's like a rebirth of nature. The trees have leaves on them again. The grass starts to get green again and grows so you'll have to get out the lawnmower. It's a good time to go for a walk in the woods. Time to plant beautiful flowers or landscape your yard. It's nice just to be outside enjoying this time of year when the weather isn't too hot. And there's baseball games starting up again. Spring is my favorite time of year.

Summer is very enjoyable. The weather is usually warm and sunny, sometimes hot. The children are out of school for the summer so you could take a trip to another state or visit another part of this state. There's always something to do; swimming, boating, camping, taking walks, fishing in one of the great lakes of Michigan.

Michigan is a fabulous state to see all the changes of the seasons. It has something for everyone.

So come and visit, won't you? You might not want to leave.
